Dr. AUREL MUREŞIANU (1847-1909)
fiul lui Iacob Mureşianu

He was Jacob Muresianu’ s son. He was a master degree in sciences to the Law Faculty in Vienna. He gave up a brilliant carrier and he turned back home in order to take over the family’s newspaper The Transylvanian Newspaper. He became the first professional journalist in Transylvania. He was very implicated in the political life being one of the founders of the National Liberal Party. He was almost all the time a member of the Central Comity. The Transylvanian Newspaper becomes the party’s newspaper. He was the author of two projects that became the material for the Memorandum of 1892. He was one of the defenders in the Memorandum fighting for every’s citizen right to defend himself in his own language.
